Lees Inn And Suites Shelbyville

Clean, quiet place to stay for one night with little time to spend in the hotel. A place to just rest and then get back on the road the next day.

The maintenance people were suppose to come to our room to fix our phone, our shower head,
but nobody showed up!

If the hotel had an elevator and a pool it would have been adequate, however traveling with children you need a pool and with extra bags an elevator would have been nice.

The hotel was comfortable and roomy. We had our granddaughter with us and did not feel cramped in the room.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke covered with air freshener. The continental breakfast was better than I expected (many items to choose from). I highly recommend Lees Inn in Shelbyville, Indiana. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the accommodations were. The lobby area was open and inviting and gave the impression of being a higher scale accommodations thanks to a lovely chandelier. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The overall hotel accommodations were fine. Just would have been nice to use a pool or fitness center.

Obviously an older building, but the rooms appear to be updated and were clean.

I think it's a good value for the price. The rooms were far bigger than most hotels and were quite clean, though there was a mildewy smell in the room. I would stay here here again but wish there was pool. ...read more
